You can't catch the big fish so easy. This is a whale... Bozkir series directed by Bahadir Ince and written by Levent Cantek; It is a taking attention production with its strong cast. As the series was broadcast on the internet, the director and screenwriter were able to reflect the story freely. Bozkir tells the story of two cops working in a small city. In Bozkir, where we witnessed the events in a city with 88 plates in Anatolia; We can understand that the city is a dream product. However, the events are not imaginary at all. In Bozkir, children and people are killed and the murders are following each other. A calm and cool police chief and an excited adolescent police officer with high potential starts to investigate these murders. Seyfi and Nuri Pamir, two police officers who have to act in accordance with the conditions of the country. Events are not developing rapidly. Almost everything we see is a reality that can be experienced in this country. It is possible to understand that the story is carefully edited. One of the most successful details in the scenario is the addition of Syrians one of the biggest problems in the country to story. The agenda and the conditions of the country are well transferred to the scenario. We listen to the story from Nuri Pamir's voice. The external voices bring a breath of fresh air to the series, and generally the audience likes this. Some viewers don't like it, because they think it's because of worrying about understanding the characters and the universe created. One of the masterpieces of Nuri Bilge Ceylan, we can say that it has a serious similarity visually with Once Upon a Time in Anatolia. Although the characters and places seem to be similar to other crime-drama series, the events in this city are conveyed in a very unique way. The colors, texture and atmosphere of Bozkir convince us that the events are indeed in an unknown but familiar city. The locations, the shooting angles and the acting were really good. Dialogues are not bad. The series does not have a high budget, so it breaks down the perception that a lot of money will be spent on good jobs.
The ambience of the town, the public buildings, the public in town and the atmosphere, together with many low-budget factors in general, providing you with everything you need for a compact crime-drama series. This increase in the number of internet series in Turkey allows people to look at the future with hope. Ahmet Kozan
